Reviews and Ratings
This hotel is truly a gem, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views of Baños and the imposing Tungurahua Volcano. My suite was charming and cozy, especially with the heated floors and a splendid view. However, the pool area got quite crowded at times, and there were long waits for breakfast on a couple of occasions, which could definitely be improved.
Staying at Luna Runtun was a beautiful experience with stunning views and relaxing hot springs. The room was cozy, featuring heated floors and breathtaking views of the valley. However, the service fell short at times, especially in the dining area, where I had to wait longer than expected. The hot springs were the main highlight for me, but be prepared for a higher price tag compared to other options in Baños.
The hotel offers stunning views and spacious rooms with private jacuzzis, but there are significant issues with service and dining options that detracted from the experience. While the pools are lovely and well-maintained, the high price does not match the quality of some amenities and the lack of attention to detail in service and dining areas.
My stay at this hotel was an interesting mix of highs and lows. On the one hand, the thermal baths were exactly what I wanted to unwind after a long journey, but access was denied even though the baths weren't full. The spa treatment I booked was top-notch, which made up for the inconvenience somewhat. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, but the service could definitely use some improvement, especially considering the high price point.
While the view from the room and pools at Luna Runtun is stunning, the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the high price. The service was inconsistent, particularly at the dining facilities, and the amenities left a bit to be desired. However, the spa treatments were a highlight that added some value to our stay.
